Post Event Publicity
Don't neglect this
opportunity for publicity. People like to know how an event
went, and how much was raised. If you want to increase your
chances of press coverage after the event then why not take
a photo at the event itself.
It
is so much more interesting to see a picture of 3 people
sitting in a bath full of custard for Children In Need,
rather than handing over a cheque several weeks later when
they've collected all the sponsorship money in.
If you have a digital camera you can e-mail the photo to the
newspaper. (See media contacts section for addresses).
