|
Babergh Matters -
Published in May and Nov |
|
Note:
ideally the story should include
a reference to Babergh Council,
it should be relevant (of
interest) to the whole district,
and satisfy one of the council’s
5 objectives:
• raising individual and
community ambitions
• safe clean and sustainable
environments
• promoting healthy living
• increasing supply of
affordable housing
• giving easy, convenient access
to services. |

Forest Heath News -
Quarterly (deadlines - Jul 10th,
Oct 9th, 22nd
Jan) |
|
It has a
couple of pages for community
stories. They should be a
maximum of 150 words, and the
council likes to include a
picture. The magazine is
distributed to 26,000 homes,
that's potentially a lot of
readers. It does have a what's
on listings section, but the
deadline for inclusion is
earlier than the editorial
section, so it's best to contact
Sally Rode. |

St Edmundsbury ‘Community
Spirit’ - Published
Quarterly |
|
There's a lot
of competition for space in the
magazine so if your story
involves working with St
Edmundsbury Council (either
through funding or partnership),
you stand more chance of
success. Stories should be
100-150 words long, and have
contact/email at the bottom. |

Waveney ‘In Touch’ -
Published two / three times a
year |
|
It's a 16
page colour, glossy magazine
that's delivered to 55,000
homes. Again stories should be
maximum 150 words long, with a
nice picture. The council is
particularly keen to receive
stories from all of the market
towns. |

Suffolk Coastal ‘CoastLine’
- Published quarterly |
|
It mainly
covers stories about the council
but if you've received a grant
from the council its worth
sending in a report about how
the grant has helped your group. |
